The Last Picture Show
In 2010 I exhibited a group of paintings at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The paintings were based on the collection and environs of the gallery itself. The painting below "Art Now" depicts the the bowels of the Art Gallyer itself - the gallery vault. A deposity of artists works collected over the century, a collection of artist, collectors and curators emotional, status, position and power.
